How can I get free membership?
To get additional membership time for FREE you can:
1. Refer your friends and as soon as they sign up, get an additional 1 month free membership per friend.
2. Earn 30 days free when uploading a video. (All videos are reviewed before approval)
3. Keep up-to-date with all promotions and free membership offers by visiting the site often and keeping your email account current.
Offers are posted and / or mailed out on a weekly basis.
Note: Free membership time will apply only for a Membership package you currently have. For example, if you have a Deluxe Package, you will earn extra free time of the Deluxe Package membership.

Billing Basics

What types of payments do you accept?
Our site accepts all major credit cards, debit cards with the visa or master card logo, personal checks and / or money orders. You can also make a payment using your existing PayPal account. We currently only accept U.S. dollars.

When do I get charged?
The membership fees will be charged in advance to your credit card according to the package your have selected. You will be charged only once; to renew your membership, you will need to log in and pay BEFORE your membership expiration date. If you paid with a check or money order, you will receive a notification that the payment is due and your account will be DELETED.

How will your charge appear on my credit card statement?
When the payment is processed your credit card statement will show Christian Commitments Corp.

Is my credit card information secure?
Yes, all credit card information is stored and encrypted in our secure database which is only accessible by our Administrator.

When do I get charged?
You will be charged only once – when your application has been approved. If you wish to renew your membership, you will need to log in and click “Upgrade Membership” to make another payment.

Do you accept checks or money order?
Yes, personal checks or money orders are accepted in U.S. dollars ONLY and payable to Christian Commitments Corp. Your account will be on hold until your payment is received. Make sure to write your Username and E-mail address on the check or money order with clear and legible writing. Send your payment directly to:

How do I get a refund?
We have a strict No Refund Policy. You can cancel your Membership at any time. We do not refund for an unused membership time.

Do I get compensated for the site’s downtime?
The only time when we might have downtime is when we are upgrading the servers or the features of our website. Incidents of downtime happen seldom and each incident is dealt with individually. In some cases we may offer additional Free membership time. We do not refund for downtimes.

I signed up, but was not able to use the site for a personal reason. Will I get a refund or receive free membership for that time?
We do not give refunds or free membership time to members who have not logged on because of some personal reasons or lack of time.

Can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time, simply;
1. While logged in click on “My Settings”,
2. Scroll down the page and select “Account Cancelation”,
3. Confirm your cancellation.
Note: For security reasons we DO NOT accept cancellations by phone.
If you want to cancel via fax or email, you will need to provide the following:  username, password, and the last 4 digits of the credit card you used to sign up.  Cancellations via fax or email are not automated and take longer to process.

How do I post a profile?
From the home page or other pages of the site, click on the Join NOW! link. This will take you through to steps of the Membership Application. Please make sure to read our Membership Guidelines and Posting a Perfect Christian Profile guidelines BEFORE you start creating your profile.

What is the profile approval process?
When you click “Submit Payment” or “Check Out” button on the last page of the application process, your profile information will immediately go into a queue to be reviewed by our customer service team to make sure it complies with our guidelines. The revision might take up to 48 hours. As soon as your profile is approved (or disapproved) you will receive an email notification letter. In case of disapproval you will need to re-post your profile.

How do I view my own profile?
To view your profile:
1. Login,
2. Click on “My Profile”,
3. Here you can view your “Essay” or “Profile”, as other members see it.

How do I edit/update my profile?
You can change any information on your profile at any time.
To edit or update your profile information:
1. While logged in click on “My Profile”,
2. Select the portion of your profile you would like to edit by clicking on the links: Edit Essay, Edit Profile or My Partner.
3.  After updating your profile information make sure to click on “Update My Profile” at the bottom of each page.

Can I change my username?
If you desire to get your username changed please email our support department and provide 3 usernames to ensure availability. There is no duplicate usernames in our system. We ask that when you enter a username you do not associate it with your First, Last or Middle Name, initials or date of birth.

How can I change my password?
You may change your password by following these simple steps:
1. Log in and click on “My Settings”,
3. Scroll to “Change Password”,
4. Enter your current password, enter your new password and confirm it.
5. After completing your changes click on “Update Settings”.

How can I change my email address?  
You can change your email by logging in to the site, click on "My Settings", and change your email address under "Account Settings", once you have changed your email address click on "Update Account Settings" to ensure your email address has been stored in our database.

My Photos

How many photos can I post?
You are able to post up to 4 photos. All photos are reviewed and posted within 48 hours. All photos must follow our Photo Posting Guidelines.

How do I post a photo?
If you are a member and want to post your first photo or additional photos:
1. Log in, click on “My Photos”
2. Click on “Browse” and select your photo from your computer system;
3. Enter the Name and Description for each photo;
4. Once you are ready click on “Upload Photo”
 Please make sure to follow our Photo Guidelines to ensure that your photo meets the site standards.

Can I create a profile and post my photo later?
Yes, you can. However we strongly recommend posting your photo while creating your profile.  Profiles with photos get 10 to 15 times more responses.

How do I add more photos?
To add more photos you just need to log on, click on “My Photos”, Under File Location click “Browse”, locate a photo on your computer, enter a name and description of the photo and click Upload photo.

What is the difference between main photo and secondary photos?
Your main photo will appear in all the search results. It must be a clear shot of your face and upper body. It is like a book cover of your profile. After the “book” is opened, then members can see all your secondary photos to learn more about you.

Should I post a photo in my profile?
Most definitely. Profiles with photos get 10 to 15 times more responses.

Why was my profile or photo rejected?
All the information on your applications gets screened: your name, credit card information, credit card billing address, photos and information posted on the profile.

Most common reasons for rejecting a profile are:
- Solicitation of any kind in the text of the profile;
- Inappropriate language or personal contact information in the text of the profile;
- Incorrect credit card information;
- Inappropriate photo(s);
- Usage of other person credit card such as a family member, friend or company is not accepted without proper documents.

Most common reasons for rejecting photos are:
- Main photo is a group photo. Main photo must be of you and no one else.
- Photo is blurry or unclear;
- Wrong position (sideways);
- Suggestive or vulgar photos;
- Photos of objects, pets, scenery or copies of a photo;
- Copies of identifications or Passports;
- Photo size is too small.

Note: Un-approved profiles and photos are deleted and cannot be retrieved. If you have received an email that your profile or photos have been rejected, please review our Membership Guidelines and Photo Guidelines prior to re-submitting your profile or photo.

What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
1. Your 1st, main photo must be of you and no one else.
2. Your main photo has to be a clear and recent photo;
3. Suggestive or blurry photos, drawings, or images from copyrighted materials will be rejected;
4. Pictures of you with your pets, favorite objects, friends or family members will be accepted ONLY as your secondary photos.
5. All photos should be in JPEG, JPG, GIF or PNG formats.
6. Photo size should be no more than 2MB.
Suggestions: Cut the empty areas around the photo and avoid small photos.

Why did I receive an email that my photo was rejected?
Most common reasons for rejecting photos are:
- Main photo is a group photo. Main photo must be of you and no one else.
- Photo is blurry or unclear;
- Suggestive or vulgar photos;
- Photos of objects, pets, scenery or copies of a photo;
- Copies of identifications or Passports;
- Photo size is too small or positioned sideways.

Can I send my pictures by mail?
Yes, you can. Please follow these instructions when sending your photos to us:
- Describe yourself on the photo as clearly as possible (hair, color of your garment, eye ware etc.) if sending photo(s) with others;
- Include your username and email address used to register.
Any missing information will delay the process of posting your photo. Specify which photo to be used as main or secondary if sending more than one. Limit of 4 photos per profile.

My Audio, Video and Greeting

How many Audios and Videos can I upload on my profile?
 
VIP membership allows you to post up to 4 (four) Audios and 4 (four) Videos. Deluxe membership allows for 4 Audios. These features are not available to Ecomony membership.

Should I post a video/audio?
Yes, absolutely. The more information you give about yourself the easier it will be for members to connect with you.

Who can I view/listen to my video/audio?
Any members are allowed to view your videos.  You may prevent certain members to view your videos by blocking them.

How do I post a video?
Once you have a video stored in your computer simply:
1. Log in and click on “My Videos”
2. Click “Browse” button to find your video file and click “Upload Clip”
3. Make sure that the video is in AVI format.
If using your cell phone or web cam to record your video, make sure to read that device’s manual for more detailed instructions on how to save video clips onto your computer desktop.

How can I view and manage my own videos?
Once you have logged on you can view your videos by clicking on “My Videos”, here you will see all your videos. You are able to edit the title and description, delete them or upload new ones.

How do I delete a video?
To delete a video from your file you would need to Log in, click on “My Videos” and click the “Delete” button next to the video.

Why wasn't my video approved?
You're video(s) may not have been approved due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Solicitation of any kind in the video or text;
- Advertisement content of any kind in the video or text;
- Inappropriate language or personal contact information viewable in the video(s) or its text;
- Inappropriate (suggestive or vulgar) video(s);
- Video is blurry or unclear;
- Wrong position (sideways);

Note: Videos must be in .avi format.

How do I edit my video text?
To edit the Video text simply go to “My Video”, next to the video clip you wish to edit click on “Edit Text”.  Change the desired information and click
“Submit”.

Who can listen to my Audio? 
All members are allowed to listen to your audio.  You may prevent certain members to view your videos by blocking them

How can I post an audio?
You can post a video by following these simple steps:
1. Log in and click “My Audio”
2. Click “Browse” button to search your computer files,
3. Once you have selected and added your audio file, you have the option to upload a photo to be associated with that audio as well; click “Browse” button and select the photo;
4. Then you need to add the “Audio Name” and “Audio Description”
6. To finish uploading all the information, click “Upload Audio”.
Note: Make sure that the Audio is in MP3 format and does not exceed a limit of 3MB. When recording an audio make sure you are in a quiet location with no interruptions. Write what you want to say before you start recording, speak clearly and don’t forget to time yourself, the time limit is 2 minutes.

How do I preview my own audio?
Once you have uploaded your audio you are able to review it by clicking on the audio title or on “My Audio” tab.  Your audio page will then open. From the audio list select the one you would like to review.

How do I delete my own audios?
To delete an audio from your file you would need to Log on, click on “My Audios” and click the “Delete” button next to the audio you wish to delete.

How can I view and manage my own audios?
Once you have logged on, click on “My Audios”, here you are able to listen to your audios. You are able to edit the title and description, delete them or upload new ones.

How do I edit my audio information?
To edit your audio text and comments simply click on "My Audio" on the Audio you wish to edit click on "Edit Text".  Make the necessary changes on the Audio Name and Audio Descriptions and click "Submit".

Why wasn't my audio approved?
You're audio(s) may not have been approved due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Solicitation;
- Advertisement;
- Inappropriate language or personal contact information viewable on the audio or its text;
- Audio is unclear;

What is the video/audio approval process?
All video(s) are reviewed by our customer care team.  The revision may take up to 48 hours. In case of disapproval you will need to re-post a new video.

What is a greeting?
A greeting is simply your own personal introduction.  Say a simple Hello! And introduce yourself. It is one of the best ways for members to hear your voice and start to get to know you.

How do I record a greeting?
Before you begin please have your microphone installed on your computer.
To record a personal greeting for members to listen to:
1. Log on and click on the *REC icon next to your photo;
2. You will be prompted to record your greeting
3. Click on the "Circle" icon to begin recording, to stop your recording section early simply click on the "Square" icon.
4. Listen to your recording by clicking on the "Play" icon to ensure you are satisfied with your recording.
Note: You may record over your recordings until you are happy with your greeting

My Mailbox

How can I make sure I receive my email notifications?
You may update your email address information by following these steps:
1. Login and click on “My Settings”
2. Edit the email address information in “Account Settings”
3. After completing your changes click on “Update Account Settings”.

How can I tell when I've received a message? 
When a member sends you a message you will be notified by email. You may also see if you have new mail when you Log in; to the right of your photo you will see "Your New Mail" with a number of new messages next to it. To read your new messages, you can click on that link or go directly to your Mailbox by clicking on "My Mailbox".

How many Messages can I have in my Inbox and Outbox?
You can have up to 100 messages in Inbox and Outbox combined (including Trash). In order to see the amount of the messages in your mailbox, click on “My Mailbox” to see the percentage of your mailbox used on the right of the box labeled “Message Folders”.

Can anyone else read my Messages?
No, only you have access to your Mailbox. Our email system is private and secure and no other member can access your email account. Please make sure your password and user ID are stored in a secure place to avoid anyone using your account.

How secure/anonymous is your email system?
ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com is using the latest technology software to provide you with a secure and anonymous email system. Each member has a private dedicated email account. When you are logged on to your account and sending or receiving emails from members, all correspondence goes through our secure system.

How can I view the Messages that I have sent to other members?
To review the messages you have sent to a member, you need to:
1. Log in,
2. Click on “My Mailbox”,
3. Under the “Message Folders” select “Sent Mail”.
Note: In order to see sent messages you must have selected the “Save message in my Sent Mail box” box when composing a message.

My Mailbox is full. How can I make more space?
After deleting a message it will be sent to your trash. Your trash will still remain part of your mailbox usage, in order to make space for new messages you MUST “empty” your trash.

How do I know that I’ve got a Message?
You will automatically receive your new message(s) in your mailbox. You can check them by viewing “My Mailbox” page. You are also notified by email that you have received a new message.

How will I be notified that I have a message in my Mailbox?
You are notified by email each time you have receive a new message.
To view your message you must log on to www.ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com
It is a basic human courtesy to reply; it is also our policy that you reply to your messages in a timely manner – within 48 hours. Even if you don’t want to communicate with the member, please be polite and let him/her know you are not interested with a simple “No. Thank you” note.

How do I know that I’ve got an E-Card?
You are notified by email each time you receive a new E-Card. You can check them by viewing “My Mailbox” page. You will receive all your E-Cards in your Inbox.

Is my personal information revealed when I send a Message through your system?
Absolutely Not. Our email system is 100% anonymous and it is entirely up to you to decide when and with whom to share your personal information. Please read our Online Dating Safety advice.

How do I read my messages from another computer?

Can I have my Messages automatically forwarded to another email address?
No. ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com email system allows only for a private communication between our members.

How do I send a Message to a member?
You can send a message to members during any of your searches by selecting “Mail” or “Postcard” while viewing their profile.
Note: If you select to send a “Postcard” you can send only short message. Choose “Text” link at the top to type your message.

How to reply to a New Message?
To reply to a new message simply open the message and select “Reply”.

What is an E-Card?
Postcards are one of the ways for our members to initiate a contact or send a colorful reply. You can personalize your postcard by choosing your background (or upload your own), object, text and even sound.

Can I send more than one Postcards to the same person?
Yes, you can. However if you are not receiving a reply after a few messages, that might be an indication that the member is not interested. Please do not insist; move on to the next profile.

I was notified that I have new Wink or E-card. What do I do next?
Once you have received an email notification of a Wink or E-Card you will need to log on to the site at ChristianSinlges.com.  Once you have logged in simply click on "My Mailbox" and view your Winks and E-Cards.

How do I delete messages?
In your Mailbox, checkmark the boxes next to the messages you wish to delete then click “Delete” button. Make sure to empty your Trash folder when you want to get rid of any unneeded mail.

How do I block someone?
You can block a member from contacting you in the future at any time.
1. You can block a member when you are viewing a members profile by selecting “Block User”.
2. To block a member from your mailbox, while viewing a message from that member, click on “Block User”.
3. You will be given a choice of what type of communication from that member you want to block (IM, messages, audio chat, video chat or games). Select any or all and click Edit.

What is “Edit folders”?
Edit Folders is where all of your messages are stored such as your (Inbox, Trash, Sent Mail and any mail folders) you may have created.
You may always edit, delete and empty your trash by entering your "Edit Folders" link.

How do I edit my folders?
To edit any mail folders you may have created simply;
1. Log in and click on "My Mailbox",
2. In the Message Folders click on "Edit Folders",
3. Select the folder you would like to edit and click on "Edit" button.

How do I add a new Folder in my mailbox?
To add a new folder, click on "My Mailbox", from the Message Folder click on "Add Folder" under My Folder section. Enter the folder name and click on "Add".

How do I delete a folder from my mailbox?
To delete a folder you have created;
1. Click on “My Mailbox”,
2. Click on “Edit Folders” in the Message Folders section,
3. Select the folder and click “Delete”

Features

What is Vote?
Members can vote on other members’ photos. You are able to select the button that you feel best describes the photo and the person in it.  To see the outcome of all votes you click on the TOP 5 to see who has been getting the best votes. 

What is “My Matches by Email”?
My Matches present you with possible matches based on the criteria you have entered in the “My Partner” section of your profile. My Matches by Email are sent once a week directly to your email address on file.
You can change My Match criteria at any time. Simply: Log in, click on “My Profile”, select “My Partner”, make your changes and click on “Update my Profile”.

How can I change my preferences for “My Matches by Email”?
To change “My Matches by Email” preferences:
1. Login,
2. Click on “My Profile”,
3. Click “My Partner”,
4. Edit your choices and save.

How do I hide/place my profile on hold?  
To hide your profile:
1. Login,
2. Click on “My Settings”,
3. Scroll to Profile Status and click on “Hide My Profile”
Note: this does NOT terminate your membership and does NOT grant you additional membership time. You must remember that your account is on a hidden status and activate it when you are ready to continue with your membership.

How do I unhide/make my profile active?
To unhide your profile:
1. Login,
2. Click on “My Settings”,
3. Scroll to Profile Status and click on “Unhide My Profile”
Note: during the time you had your account in a “Hold” status it did NOT terminate your membership. This does NOT grant you additional membership time. You must remember that your account is on a hidden status and activate it when you are ready to continue with your membership.

Can I prevent only certain members from seeing my profile?
Yes, you can block a member. Open the member’s profile you wish to block and select the Block icon.  

Would my profile still show up after I cancel my membership?
No, once you have cancelled your membership you account will no longer exist. All information including your photos, videos, blogs, sent and received Emails and Winks will be lost and deleted from our system.
Note: once your information is removed from our database it cannot be restored.

What is “Top Members”?
Top members are first five profiles with the highest Member votes.

How do I get on the “Top Members”?
To be on the Top Members you may want to place your best photo as your main photo.  Show your best side, dress up, have your hair done and put on your best suite or dress. 

How do I refer a friend?
To refer a friend to the site all you need is his or her email address;
1. Click on "Refer A Friend",
2. Enter all of your friends emails in the "To" box, (separated by commas)
3. Enter a "Personal Message" (optional) and click "Invite"
Once your members have joined email us directly with your friend's username and your username so that we may give you 30 days free membership for each friend you have referred to the site.

Do I get compensated for referring a friend?
Yes.  You will receive 30 free days once your friends or family members have joined email us directly using our "Contact Us" form. Please provide us with your friend's/family member's username and your username so that we may give you 30 days free membership for each person you have referred to the site.

Blogs, Forums & Events

What are Blogs for?
Blogs are a place for members to gather their thoughts in writing. They collect articles, write about topics that interests them or keep a diary of meaningful events. You can read and comment on other members Blogs and see what others have to say about your Blogs. 

How can I add a Blog?
All you would have to do is:
1. Log On,
2. Select the “My Blog” link,
3. Select “New post”.
4. Enter the Subject, Text and add an image if desired.
5. Lastly, Select “Create post”
After you have created your blog you will get a preview.

Can I edit my blog(s)?
Yes, you are able to edit your blog(s) at any time. To edit:
1. Log On;
2. From the sub menu click on “My Blog”
3. Choose the blog you wish to change by choosing “Edit post”
4. Make any desired changes.
5. When you are finished, choose “Edit post” to complete the editing process.

How do I delete my blog
Go to “My Blog” page and choose “Delete” on the blog you wish to delete.

I like a member's Blog. How do I get to know that member?
You may view a members profile by clicking on the member's blog, click on the member's username that is shown highlighted.
The members profile will then show, read his/her profile and send them message, wink or an E-card to start a conversation.

What are Forums?
Forums are a place where members can talk as a community. Forums are visited by members and non members for information, discussions, critique or comment.

How do I enter a topic in a Forum?
To type in a topic simply select a Forum of your interest. Click on “Post New Topic”, enter the “Subject Name” and enter the “Message”. Let members know your point of view, your opinions or comments.

What are Events for?
Events are thing that are happening in your community, churches etc.

How do I create an Event?
To create an event;
1. Click on "Events" from the top browser,
2. Click on "Create New Event",
3. Enter all of the Events information (Event Name, Organizer, select the events Category, When and Where the event will be happening)
4. Once you are done entering the entire events information click on "Save Event".
5. View your event by clicking on "Click here to view event"

How do I subscribe to an event?
To subscribe to an event click on the "Event & Description" link you wish to subscribe to.  Under the "RSVP" column select "Add to calendar" the event will automatically be saved. You may view all of your scheduled events by clicking on the "My Calendar" tab.
You may add an event by simply clicking on the event of your interest, click on "Add to Calendar"

Other Members Profile

What is a “Wink”?
A Wink is another form of an icebreaker for our shy members to initiate a contact.

What is “Add to Favorites”?
You can use this feature when you are interested in a member, but don’t have time to email them right away and wish to email them later. While viewing a member’s profile click on “Add to Favorites”, enter a comment and click “Add”.  This member will then be added to your Favorites List which you may later review and edit.

What is “IM (Instant Message)”?
IM is an acronym for instant message, which represents a real life private conversation between two users via instant email system. If the other member is online you can start your one-on-one email session by clicking the “IM” icon on his profile.

Why can’t I view members Blog?
Main reason is that the member probably hasn’t posted a blog. If you are interested, just send him/her a message, a Wink or E-card. Depending on their Membership package some members are not able to post blogs. For more detailed description of the packages click here.

Why I cannot view member’s video?
It could be because a member simply didn’t get a chance to post one yet or his membership package does not provide for posting a video. Only members with VIP membership package can post a video.

How do I view members Blogs?
You are able to view a member’s blog by clicking on their profile. Read what they are most interested in and comment them on it. Depending on their Membership package some members are not able to post blogs. For more detailed description of the packages click here.

What is the “Match”?
The match icon is a tool you can use to see how compatible you are with the member you are viewing.  To do so, click on the Match (heart) icon in the member’s profile. It will open a page a Love Calculator showing you a percentage of your compatibility.

Why can’t I listen to a member’s audio?
It could be because the member simply didn’t get a chance to post an audio yet or his/her membership package does not provide for posting one. Only members with VIP or Deluxe membership packages can post an audio.  For more detailed description of the packages click here.

How can I listen to a member's audio?

 To listen to an audio simply click on the Profile and then on the "Audio" icon.

Make sure your computer sound settings are not on Mute and the Volume is turned on.
Note: If you don't see an Audio icon in the profile, it means that the member didn't have a chance to post their audio yet or his/her membership package doesn't provide for posting one. Only members with VIPor Deluxe membership can upload or record their audio.

How can I view all of the members photos?
While viewing a members profile simply click on the member's photo.  If the member has posted more than one photo his/her photos will be shown. You may view the photos in a larger scale by scrolling your mouse over the photos.
You may also view the member's photos by clicking on the "Photos" icon in the member's home page.
To go back to the results simply click "Back to Results".

How do I view a member’s profile information?
To view the members information click on “Profile” while viewing his or her profile. To return to the essay simply click on the “Essay” tab.

What is "Play Games"?
This feature allows you to interact and have fun with a member on our site.  Several games are included such as; Love Tree, Sea Battle and Droughts.   

How do I start to play a game with a member?
To play a game with a member simply click on "Play Games", select the game you wish to play with the member, an invitation will be sent to the member s/he will have the option to reject or play now.  Once the member has accepted the game will show on the screen and you may start playing.

Chat and IM (Instant Messaging)

What is “IM (Instant Message)”?
IM is an acronym for instant message, which represents a real life private conversation between two users via instant email system. If the other member is online you can start your one-on-one email session by clicking the “IM” icon on his profile.

How do I send an IM?
When you are browsing through the profiles you can select the “Send IM” to contact a user. Also, when viewing profile of a member who is Online Now simply click “IM” and send an Instant Message. The member will then be notified of an instant message. If she/he accepts, you will then start your private one-on-one chat.

How do I receive an IM?
During your online session you may receive an IM from another user; the message will appear in a new window. It is your choice whether or not you would like to reply. Again we ask that you be courteous.  

What is Chat room?
Chat room is a feature on a ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com where online conversations are held in real time by a number of members. We offer regular Chat rooms or more fun 3D Chat rooms where you can communicate with members in a real-life-like ambiance in the room of your choice.

What is the difference between IM and the Chat room?
IM allows for a private one-on-one message session while Chat room is a public place where many members meet at once to share their ideas and views.

What is 3D Chat?
Our new 3D Chat feature is an interactive fun way to chat with other members in virtual meeting places.

What is Audio Chat?
Audio chat allows you to have online voice conversations with a member. 

What kind of software do I need to have an Audio Chat conversation?
You and the member will need a microphone that connects to your PC.

How do I start an audio chat?
To start an audio chat click on the "Audio Chat" icon while viewing a members profile.  Once the member clicks "Accept" your conversation will start.
Note: Both you and the member must have a microphone in order to start a conversation.

What is Video Chat?
Video allows you to have a conversation with a member while viewing them live. 
Note: Both you and the member must have video cam connected on your computers.

How do I start a video chat with a member?
To start a video conversation with a member simply click on "Video Chat" allow the member to accept your invitation and start your conversation.

Searching and Browsing

How do I start a basic search?
To search for members:
1. Log in;
2. Click “Search” from the navigation bar;
3. Search by username, keyword, or conduct a custom search based on specific criteria;
4. After you enter your search criteria click the “Search” button and you will be presented with the search results.
Depending on your search results, you might want to be more or less specific in your search criteria.

How to use “Username Search”?
You need to know the username and enter it exactly the way it is in our system in order to use this search. If you know the members username simply click on “Search” and enter the username in the “Username Search” box.

How to use “Keyword Search”?
If you are looking for a member with similar interests, you can enter a specific keyword, such as reading, hiking, etc. and you will be presented with the search results of members who have used the same keyword in their profile. To conduct a keyword search, simply click on “Search” and enter the keyword in the “Keyword Search” box.

How can I start an advanced search?

To search for members with more specific criteria:
1. Log in;
2. Click "Search" from the navigation bar;
3. Click on "Advanced Search"

4. Search by age, location, photo required, member status or other optional criteria such as ethnicity, children, smoking, drinking, weight or hight;

5. After you enter your search criteria click the "Start Advanced Search" button and you will be presented with the search results.
Note: Save your searches by clicking on the "Save this search as" box and naming it for future reference.
Depending on your search results, you might want to be more or less specific in your search criteria.

What is a Quick Search?
A quick search allows you to find the following members:
Who is Online - Displays members currently logged into the site;
Who is New - Displays users who have recently become ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com members;
Birthdays - Members celebrating a Birthday;
Featured - Displays your featured members;
Who is on IM - Displays users based on who is available for an instant message (IM) conversation.

Can I save my searches?
Yes, you have an option to save your searches.
1. From the menu bar select “Search”
2. Click Advanced Search;
2. Once you have selected the search criteria, check mark the “Save this search as” and name your search.

Can I save a Profile so I can revisit it later?
Yes, you can. When viewing a profile select “Add to Favorites” and that profile will be automatically saved to your favorites. You may type in something about this profile in “Comments” box to help you remember why you added it into your favorites.

How do I find a profile I have seen before?
If you remember a specific word used in the profile, a Keyword Search might help you locate that member or you can enter generic information and look through the search result list.

Can I have profiles of new members that match my preferences to be sent to me by email?
We automatically send out notifications with your latest matches each week. You are able to stop these notifications by following these steps: log in to your account, click on “My Settings”, under Account Settings select the “Off” button in “My Matches by Email”.

What to do if I don’t want certain profiles appear on my searches?
If you do not wish a certain profile appear in your searches, you can simply block that profile. Open the profile of a member you wish to block and select the “Block” icon.

Why aren't there any search results?
You may not be receiving many search results because your search preferences may be too specific.  Be a little broader in your search.  If you still are not generating any results try again later, hundreds of new members are joining every day.

How do I edit/delete a saved search?
To delete a saved search click on “Search” from the main menu, click on “Saved Searches”, here you are presented with your list of saved searches.
To delete or edit the saved search simply click on “Delete” or “Edit” of the search you wish to change.

Communication Guidelines

How do I report spammers or scammers?
You may report a member while viewing a member’s profile by selecting “Report Scam”. You may also report a scammer by using the form on Contact Us page. Please include the username of the member you are reporting.
Note: reporting is confidential; we do not release your information.

Can I send an advertisement to members?
No. Please read our Membership Guidelines carefully. This site is intended for a personal use only. Profiles of the member’s linking to any commercial activities will be deleted.

How often should I answer my e-mails?
You should answer your emails as soon as you receive them. It is just a basic human courtesy to reply; and it is our policy to reply to your messages in a timely manner – within 48 hours.

Can I send my personal email address to another member?
If you are serious and have gotten to know the member and feel comfortable enough to send him/her your email you may do so. We highly recommend that you get to know the person well before you share any personal information. Ask questions, you can never ask too many.  Our site is not liable for any of your own personal decisions or actions outside the site. 

Do you recommend I send my personal information to a member?
No.  We do not recommend that you send anyone your personal information such as your social security number, home address, and bank account information etc. at any time.

How well should I get to know someone before I decide to meet?
You should get to know the person well enough 3 or more months.  You can exchange Videos, Photos or Audios through our site.  You may also have Audio conversations online without having to give out your own phone number.

Safety and Security

How do I report inappropriate photos or content on a member profile?
While viewing a Members’ profile, select the “Report Profile” option. You may also report a scammer by using the form on Contact Us page. Please include the username of the member you are reporting.
Note: reporting is confidential; we do not release your information.

How do I report Profiles that violates the Profile Guidelines?
While viewing a Members profile, select “Report Profile”. Or if you have received a spam, click Report Spam link while viewing the spam message in your Mailbox. You may also report a scammer by using the form on Contact Us page. Please include the username of the member you are reporting.
Note: reporting is confidential; we do not release your information.

How do I report spam or solicitations in my Mailbox?
When you viewing a message from another member and the message appears to be a spam or a scam, click the “Report Scam” link.

Does Christian run a background check on its members?
No we do not run a background check on our members. We don’t want to give our members a false sense of security since the currently available background checks are faulty and don’t give a 100% guarantee. All your personal information is kept confidential and you are the only one that can share it with others. Please read our Online Dating Safety advice.

At the time that the application is submitted we can only rely on the truth and the integrity of the individual. We count on our members to help us discover those that are non-Christian, so that we can act accordingly. We will remove profiles of the members who are proven to be non-Christian.

Miscellaneous

How can I get my profile on top of the search results?
Member profiles appear in the search result list in the following order:
No.1. By the type of the Membership Package: VIP at the top, followed by Deluxe and Economy members at the bottom;
No.2. By photo in the profile: profiles with photos appear at the top of the search;
No.3. By member’s activity: most active members appear at the top of the search.
If you are an active VIP Package member with a picture in your profile you are guaranteed top ranking and your profile will show at the top of the search results.

What is “Press”?
We want all members to be updated with the latest updates, Featured Press/News, News Categories that are associated with the site. We will inform you of New Features, New Testimonies, New Sites associated with ChristianSinglesOnlineDating.com.
