I am a small town Christian girl who now lives in Indy (on my own). I work in foster care as a social worker. I am currently in graduate school at IUPUI for social work. I love people and being social, personality tests say I am extraverted. I love my family and my friends a lot, and I love my cat (Baby, he is 10). I love games- card, board, dvd, sports, video, etc. I love movies- all kinds even scary ones. I love tv- especially reality. I also love chocolate, maybe a little too much and the color pink as i wear it almost everyday. My favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and reading.
I am looking for a man who becomes not only a partner in love, but a best friend as well. I would love a man who is funny and silly, but knows when to be serious as well. I like men who are passionate about something and pursue that passion boldly whatever it may be. I am an emotional person, so I would like to find a partner who takes that time to connect with me emotionally as well as showing me physically through simple gestures like holding my hand or giving me a hug or a kiss just because. I want someone who likes to go out and have fun adventures together (even if its going to a movie or browsing the local bookstore, or taking a blanket out under the stars and falling asleep in each others arms), but sometimes I just want to stay in order pizza pop in a good movie and cuddle with my man.
I have not had many serious relationships. I am always seen as the 'friend' and guys usually don't see me in that light, I would love to be pursued and given the chance.

I think a first date should be fun, yet relaxing to take away any nerves. It shouldn't be a time to impress the other, just be casual, get to know each other. I would prefer to do something that involves talking or doing something together, like taking a romantic walk. But honestly, if the two people hit it off and are enjoying each other's company, I guess it really doesn't matter what the date envolves. |
